Trail Lodge Apartments
Apartment landscape renovation · Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
A renovation plan owners can act on.
A stronger entrance, better walking connections and a landscape designed for practical upkeep. Design365’s proposed renovation connects individual site issues to a coordinated scope the owner can review, price and phase.
Existing entrance. Planting partly obscures the property sign.
Proposed concept — not built. A more visible sign, low planting and a connected bed, with drainage preserved. September 2026 design development.
01 / Better walking connections
The issue: The route from the stairs to the sidewalk crosses loose stone and small, disconnected paving surfaces.
The design response: A continuous, firm walking connection, coordinated with the stair landing and drainage.
Value for the owner: A defined improvement to resident circulation that can be included in the renovation scope.
Existing condition · North site analysis, L1.02.
02 / Practical upkeep
The issue: Small lawn pockets around trees and site features are awkward to mow.
The design response: Review selected pockets for root-sensitive mulch beds and focused planting, with simpler edges and coordinated irrigation.
Value for the owner: Maintenance needs inform the design early, while useful lawn, suitable trees, drainage and utility access are retained.
Existing condition · North site analysis, L1.02.
From site issues to a plan
The north-site analysis connects observations to specific locations. Purple E03 tags identify walking connections; yellow areas highlight small lawn pockets for review. Other notes coordinate drainage, tree conflicts and landscape to retain.
These priorities carry into materials and planting plans, giving the owner a coordinated scope to review with contractors, obtain pricing and phase as needed.
