Effective date: August 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Design365 & Landscape Architecture (“Design365,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Darren Teal in Post Falls, Idaho, handles personal information collected through design365la.com.

Information We Collect

When you use the contact form, we collect your first and last name, company or organization if provided, email address, message, and any other information you choose to include. If you contact us by email or phone, we collect the information contained in that communication.

Squarespace automatically collects technical and usage information that may include your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, and interactions with the site. Cookies and similar technologies support site functionality and analytics. Google reCAPTCHA may process device, session, and security signals to help identify spam and abuse.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to questions and project inquiries.
  • Understand potential scope, schedule, and proposal requirements.
  • Prepare proposals and provide or manage requested services.
  • Communicate about an inquiry, client relationship, or project.
  • Operate, secure, analyze, and improve the website.
  • Maintain appropriate business and professional records and comply with legal obligations.

The contact form is not a marketing subscription. We will not add you to a marketing list or send promotional campaigns based solely on an inquiry unless you provide separate consent.

Cookies and Analytics

This site is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace uses necessary cookies to operate the site and may use analytics and performance cookies to provide native site analytics, such as visits, traffic sources, and general site usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling necessary cookies may affect site features. Learn more in Squarespace’s cookie information.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics may collect technical and usage information such as pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, device and browser information, and interactions with the site through cookies or similar technologies. We use this information to measure site performance and improve the website. Google processes this information under Google’s Privacy Policy.

Google reCAPTCHA is used to protect the contact form from spam, fraud, and abuse. It may use a necessary cookie and risk-analysis signals for that security purpose.

How We Share Information

We may share personal information only as reasonably necessary with service providers that help operate the website and manage inquiries, including Squarespace, email services, Google Analytics, and Google reCAPTCHA. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the security of the website.

If the practice is involved in a reorganization, sale, merger, or transfer, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry, manage a potential or existing client or project relationship, maintain appropriate business and professional records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it when reasonably practicable, subject to routine backup and service-provider retention cycles.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. However, no website, email transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices and Requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you have provided. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when required for legal, professional, security, or legitimate business reasons. To make a request, email darren@design365la.com.

You can also use your browser controls to limit or remove cookies.
