Property managers can bring an existing system that needs renovation, equipment replacement, or phased improvements.
Commercial owners and consultant teams can include irrigation within a wider landscape scope for office, industrial, retail, service, and mixed-use properties. The proposal identifies responsibilities, required backgrounds, and the extent of design and construction support.
Start with the system and the site
Existing-system work begins with the available drawings, known operating concerns, and planned changes to planting or site layout. Information from the people maintaining the property helps distinguish a targeted improvement from a broader renovation.
For water-use improvements, define the intended outcome early and coordinate equipment with planting and landscape changes. Actual water use also depends on site conditions, installation, maintenance, and operating schedules.
New systems need coordination with landscape areas, hardscape, and current consultant backgrounds. Hydraulic review considers available flow and pressure information alongside system demand. Missing information and required decisions are identified before the work advances.

The Course
Darren designed irrigation to establish and maintain competition turf while leading the overall site and course layout. The system includes approximately 2.5 miles of six-inch HDPE mainline, 8.5 miles of laterals, and more than 800 sprinkler heads. This experience involved integrating a substantial irrigation system with the layout and use of a recreation facility.
